It is considered that Gambas al ajillo originates from the south and center of Spain but is so popular nowadays that it can be found virtually every where. The primary ingredients consist of prawn/ shrimp, garlic and olive oil. There are other variations too. It’s often served as an appetizer but is also offered as an entrée.
